Through the Eyes of the Mayor

A vision for the people

A deck I wrote and pitched to the Mayor's office. It came out of a simple observation: most people — especially the younger generation — have no real understanding of how their city works, why legislation exists, or why certain problems stay unsolved.

So the conversation defaults to what's broken, instead of what can be done. The proposal flips the seat: let the public view the city from the eyes of the Mayor, and participation replaces complaint.

The deck lays out the vision and mission, the strategy, two pilot initiatives, transparency and marketing, cost, the free labor resources available to run it, a reward system, and the outcome.

"You should always look at things as if you were the mayor of your state. That way when you see what seems out of place, you will find its inherent beauty and think of ways to make it better."
